Scott is a lifetime Californian who moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2006.

He has four children: Chris, 11; Abby, 11; Emmy, 9; and Nathan, 8.

​

Scott graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with a BA in Mass Communications. He also has an Associates Degree in Journalism from El Camino College, Torrance, CA.

​

For no reason other than he can, he is an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church Ministry (since September 2, 2017), he holds a current California Real Estate License, and a current California Guard Card.
